Ok it's time I get around posting what I picked up in NJ. I wanted to share these right away, but things have been hectically busy.

I of course brought home a bit of knowledge from talking to hobbyist and making it to one of the speeches. I also took home some awesome Marco rocks which Steph and I picked out for the FO system, some rubble rock at a nice price, a bunch of freebees samples and t-shirts, and all I bought live stock wise was xenia. I purchased four species, two on one rock, from "Marine Farmers".

This first pic is of the two I picked up on the same rock. The one I already have, the other I believe is a different species I have not seen in person before, but read about it online.

The second pic is of the two rarer species I picked up. One I had read a bit about online in the past and almost ordered it a couple times, but was worried about shipping with no guarantee.(that and the hundreds of dollars I typically see them listed for) The second one I don't think I had seen before in person or in the books. The first picture is with out a flash….

What do you think?

I didn't know that you actually went back for the two rarer pieces of xenia at the swap. They look awesome!!! Putting myself first in line for a frag of them when they become available!! :D

Actually for that matter putting myself in line for any frags of xenia you have.

Is that true cespitularia or simply a blue hue of another species? The way to tell is if you can see the sclerites (they look like little blue lines) in the skin it is cespitularia, where as if it simply has a blue tint to the outer tissue its xenai sp.

Ok I am a couple months late responding, but yes it is the real deal and not just a blue hue of some cheap xenia. I've posted some photos on the DRC forum here.

As far as how much did it cost.... it cost me a lot and I'll be selling some on the DRC forum at lot cheaper.

Andy I have a piece set aside for you remind me to bring it the next time I come over.
