My phanton clown was twice the size of my orange occellaris, its been 10 weeks or so since i got them, i am not sure if the bigger one was changed over to female yet or not, but it was the more dominant one and they were a great pair. Last night my phatom clown somehow jump out of the tank and onto the screen. (obviously this is extremely upsetting)
at this point I have a mini orange clown (most likely male). I would think the best thing would be to put in QT another larger clown to replace the one that died.
there is no other fish in my DT, just the remaining mini orange clown.
3 days ago i put a royal gramma and pj cardinal in my 10 gallon QT. (i plan on 4+ weeks in QT).
what is my best option?
Add a large Clown to the QT with the other 2 new fish?
Take clown out of DT and put him with new clown in a seperate QT? (so they bond) and so the mini clown i have doesnt get dominant in the next 4 weeks.
stick with the one clown?
get a mini mini clown and put him in QT with the other 2 new fish?
