what is my 135 stand worth?

Hey guys, I was going to try to sell my stand for the 135g tank.

But the problem is that I have no clue at what to price it.

It's better than a regular stand in that it's a "tall" stand (most of you know this already). The top of the stand is 36", which is great for viewing.

Anyways, what do you think? Firewood?

I'll take it if you're really wanting rid of it... My stand is worth firewood... Yours is at least an upgrade... If only very slight... lol

That would be just my luck. Soon as I say it is only worth firewood, a bidding war starts. One thing to consider -- firewood at Kroger is really expensive.

I could give you some firewood as trade for the stand. :o We chopped down some huges trees a couple years ago and have tons of fire wood.

Donny, your tank will fit on my stand? Call me!

Randy, my stand is actually pretty good but it just needs to have the shelf removed. We never did this while the tank was full because we weren't sure if it added stability (most of the technical guys didn't think so though). But I just didn't want to risk it with the tank sitting there full. I could just imagine Priscilla flopping on the floor (I would just die).

But once the tank is off, even if the shelf had some sort of supportive function, you could always just add other supports in it yourself, ya know? So I think it's pretty cool, but maybe some people wouldn't like it (it's not Oak after all). hah hah.

Well if its not oak, then it won't even make good firewood... lol I'm planning on making a new stand for my tank whenever we move, but like you, I don't want to risk messing around with it while it is full...
