Doesnt look cut, looks like part of his foot is turning loose from where it is attached

Yea, you will probably see it relocated in another area in a couple hours. Sometimes they do not like the light or flow they are recieving and try to relocated to a better location.

I started with three maroon mushrooms, and now have a few dozen, they do often detach and refoot elsewhere,, or just sort os slide across the rocks . leaving babys
