What is this on my frogspawn

I tried to highlight what I am talking about It goes down the skeleton and then curls on the base of it and has a long white stringy thing if you look close you can kinda see the string thing maybe 8" long and can I remove it or will I damage the skeleton

Looks like a Vermetid snail from the pic, not overly harmful more of an irritant. If the string gets on/in the coral it can cause irritation. Remove plug and add a drop of super glue to the end sealing it inside... and keep you eyes open, for them to start turning up on your rocks.

I took frogspawn out and crushed the base and the tube and pulled the slimy thing out. Hopefully it didn't spread it was only in there a couple days
