What is this on my snail?

All of my Astrea snails have these growth on them. They have mucus nets like a vermetid snail, but then they grow these trumpet like pieces at the end. Anybody know what they might be?

filter feeding hydroid I think, I'm not really for sure on that. Cool pic tho

It looks more Mermaids Cup algae to me.
