What is this??

I'm starting to get a lot of this stuff in my tank. At first I didn't mind a little of it but it is starting to spread rapidly. Does anyone know what it is and what might get rid of it?

(kind of) looks like a type of xenia from the picture, or also looks like possibly majano anemonies, I am leaning towards xenia.

if it is either type and you can pull the rock out, that would be the eaiest you can pry them off with a sharp object exacto knife is the best choice.

Vote for Majano Anemone.

Majanos spread via spores so they can move throughout the tank without seeing direct propogation. Thats usually a tell tale sign unless your corals went sexual
