Just started my 120 gl reef tank and got some new zoa's I would like to know what is the best food to feed them so they can grow faster? Appreciate the help
I think those are sunburst zoas. I have them as well. Hard to tell. =] Do they look like this:
?
Also, I feed phyto and reef snow occasionally but the best "food" for a zoa is stable parameters and good lighting if you are really interested in feeding of zoanthids, I suggest following the "polyps galore 70+ colonies of zoanthid" thread. Just search for it. you have to read through alot, but he really had great success with zoa feeding. The key is to do it at night with moonlights on.
Thanks! We have a threw for our research if you r. Search zoanthid research it will pop up. We are at the university of Findlay. We will be publishing and presenting our findings soon.
