does anybody know what this is? I did have a feather duster hitchhiker there before so it might have crawled out and died? DSC_0008.jpg
(just in case you don't know click image for it to be larger.)

PS: its in the center of the image, if you want a cropped image just ask

ok.... after doing a good amount of research I think its a sea cucumber, search transparent sea cucumber, tell me what you think?

I've looked at your pic a few times and I still don't see what you are talking about :( Sorry at least bringing you back to the top.

I see what you're talking about but it's too small/difficult to see in that image. Now unless my eyes are tricking me and I'm just seeing algea, I see a very blured aiptasia anemone.. or some kind of nudibranch on the rock below it. The backround info also suggest a crownless feather duster.

I don't believe it's a transparent cucumber.. I'm sure they exsist, but I'm not sure they're seen in the hobby.

I do have some sort of aptasia in my tank, do you think thats what it is? the aptasia in my tank is transparent but it definitely looks different when detached.

oh, you were talking about that white thing below it? its in the same place as it was yesterday.

Yeah, I was seeing some weird shadow or algea part above it that looked like aiptasia to my eyes (I have poor vision) and the little purple thing at the bottom looked like a flatworm or nudibranch.

But I see it better in the crop. I have no clue what that is, it doesn't sound like a cucumber, flatworm, or slug if it doesn't move.. fanworms are not flat like that even though I see a little crown. It's really difficult to tell.

Almost looks like a patch of something like coraline/sponge with a tubeworm living in it.
