I have a green birdsnest coral that is placed at the top of my rockwork centered under two kessill a150's, I have three over my 75 gallon tank. The side with two kessill's placed side by side is my sps dominate side. To make sure I had enough par I added a nice aquaticlife edge 72 watt reef edition LED fixture. I have a standard light cycle with kessill's running 11-11 and the edge light changing from a few settings each day. My parameters are very solid and I'm even experiencing great growth from all my hard corals. Dkh reading a steady 9.1 for the past month at least. Despite all of this my green birdsnest seems to be losing it nice green color in favor of a bright white branch color with almost neon polyps. The coral has shown noticable growth over the past month after being stubborn for a few months. So what gives with the bleaching? I though birdsnest loved light, as well as powerful flow, and it has been in it's position for at least 6 months. Now that it's growing should I just leave it and see if it colors up? Or should I move it lower or to the side? I like the placement of the coral and would prefer not to move it. I'll post a pic.
