WHAT IS WITH MY CLOWN TRIGGERFISHs lip

my clown trigger had a shreded looking lip for about 4 months already

tell me what this is please and how to treat it

Pic is kinda blurry, but that's probably a bacterial infection. However, I've also seen extreme cases of Lympho look like that around the mouth. If this were my fish, I would QT and treat with a broad spectrum antibiotic such as Furan-2. You may have to attempt "fish surgery" down the road if antibiotics fail to clear this up and the growth starts to interfere with the fish's eating.

How have you just let his lip look like that for 4 months. I see a mark or something odd and I find a solution or the cause same day..
