What is wrong with my gobys mouth??

It looks like something has chewed on my goby face. Found him like this today, he is no longer in the burrow with the candy cane pistol shrimp. His other tank mates are 2 cleaner shrimp, a royal gramma, occ clown, clown goby, two spot blenny and various hermit crabs and snails<br />

Either the pistol shrimp turned on him (I've heard of this happening on occasion), or he tried to jump, and caught something on his way up...

Is it able to eat still?

I'm not sure if he is still able to eat...I couldn't get him to eat yesterday, but he seemed pretty stressed. Not sure how long he has been like this, yesterday was the first time l seen him in 3 days

Sorry to hear that...
You may want to trade in the pistol shrimp and get another pistol goby pair. That one may have gone rogue.

I've heard of tiger pistols going rogue but not a candy cane. Sorry to hear about that too.
