What is wrong with my Tang

There are 4 tangs in my 180g (250 total) system. This is my largest one. I have observed for aggression and have not seen anything. Yet I find a very well delineated but sometimes large laceration on the side of the Sailfin tang every couple of weeks. This always happens when I see the fish in the morning (fine before lights out):furious:

Is it caused by the live rock in its hiding spot? But why so frequently (once every couple of weeks). The fish are overfed with frozen food and Nori. Would love some suggestions. The other tangs are: Whiteface, Blue, and lemonpeel angel mimic. Remaining fish are small and timid...

looks like it had a fight with another tang in your system. Not sure why they fight but maybe it can be so that dominant tang in your system lets the other tangs know whose the boss.

No yellow, just a lemonpeel mimic. He is very docile... The only tang that even comes close is the white face...

try to notice how the tangs behave at night. maybe they fight over sleeping areas and that laceration can be a possibility of that.

you can a maybe rearrange the rocks and provide them with more caves and hiding places so that each tang can have its own. If that doesn't work, you can try to figure out which tang is actually doing this and remove that tang.
