This zoanthid colony just started looking like this. Two weeks ago all was great and they looked awesome. Colony was given to my client about 6 months ago and was fine. Suddenly this happened. No changes in parameters, all within range. All other fish and inverts (clam, corals, leathers, lps, mushrooms, rbta, etc.) in tank are great. These are the only zoanthids in the tank.
First thought was heraldi angel was eating at them, but have not witnessed any predation.
Any thoughts?
