hogs rank up there with 6lines and mystery wrasses for temperament and territorial nature. They are fine so long as you don't have any small fish, small to medium shrimp or snails and have no intention of putting any high end fairy wrasses in with them (IE: lineatus, flame, scotts, rhomboid, etc).

i got the same wrass 2 week ago.doing fine in my tank so far.
The fish pictured above is not a peppermint hog (Bodianus sp.) It's a Hologymnosus rhodhonotus, completely different fish. They get much much larger and eat small fish. Definitely not reef safe. Peppermint hogs get about 4" and are only a threat to small shrimp and very peaceful similar bodied fish (like flasher wrasses).

I got one too. But it managed to get into my overflow. And now he is in my sump.

Phong, The 6 lines won't kill your shrimp (unless the shrimp are small) and they will help with pyramidellid snails, but they also won't tollerate any more docile wrasses (lineatus, scotty fairy, flame wrasses, flashers, leopards, etc). And once a 6-line gets established, it can/will take down even larger, more aggressive fish.
EDIT : More so when the other fish are introduced into the tank after the 6-line
There are just other fish that are as good or better at pest control" that don't have the aggressive tendencies that 6-lines do.

Don't fret too much my friend. They are still juveniles and unlikely to harm anything save for small shrimp and snails at the moment. And possibly each other...I'd actually be very curious to hear your observations on their behavior towards each other. If you read that link then you saw how big they get, though. It's unfortunate as they are beautiful fish.
