What kind of Heater do you use?

Well living in the northern part of canada I need a heater. I give you's the same story, Used all kinds of differents heaters and such. I have been doing some research and going to go with a Ranco controller but i need a good heater for this. Or lead me too a "highly recomended" heater. |To me the price is not a big issue. Its for my 400 gal systems. Perferrably submersible fully.

Can you help me out?...

I use Aqua Medic titanium heaters (various wattages) with a seperate digital controller.

I have five Jalli 500 watters on my 1000g system. I use them with a controller. We are limited on heaters in this hobby.

ya i hear ya. just tired of buying junk all the time thinking its ok because the net doesn't really give you a good "look" at the equipment, so I figure see what everyone else uses and with success thanks dave

I use four Medusa controllers for those five heaters. I think they stopped making them though
