Cost is a huge factor as I dont want to overpay and get too much lighting. Id like to keep soft corals and lps no sps. The tank is bowfront I dont know if that effects the type of lighting I should buy.
You could probably go with just T5's or DIY LED's if cost is a factor. I use the rapid LED's solderless models with a dimmable driver. I was afraid to solder so I never ventured to them but once they got the solderless models. Easy as pie stuff and arms and legs cheaper.
