What? No threading?? Eheim 1048

I know this is probably the smallest pump that Eheim makes (1048) however i am having difficulty figuring out (called prem aquatics / searched forums etc) what is going on here!...

I think Eheim forgot to THREAD my pump Outlet (see pics)!!... I cannot attach the threaded adaptor provided by eheim (with o-ring) that will eventually connect to my Korallin Calcium Reactor (trying to setup the Korallin 3002)...

Anyone had any issues with this or am i just missing something??? See pics - notice - no threads in the "out" hole!! (cannot screw in the adaptor!) I hope this is just an oversight on my end... im confused.

i just got the same pump

and yes looks like your missin the threads mine went in raher easily

I have an Eheim 1046 and it has a threaded outlet for the connector fitting. You may want to call Eheim at 1-888-343-4662.

pjf - they are off for christmas / new years break until 2nd week in jan... uuuug!!

Has anyone else had this happen to them? i might swing by a LFS and try to get another pump - i really want to get the CA reactor going this weekend.

just had the same **** happen to me! eheim 1048 and the outlet is not threaded...what did you do to resolve the issue?

called them and had them replace it free of charge

I just got a 1046 the same way.
