Hi all.... I'm in the process of ordering my fish.... Yeyyy

I intend on stocking a fire shrimp, no cleaner shrimp. 2 clownfish, 2 Cardinals, 2 azure damselfish, a foxface, and 2 royal gamma bass let.

What should I put in first as I heard it makes a difference.. Thanks guys :)

What size is your tank? I added my clowns last due to them staking out a territory. If they stake one out before you finish stocking, they could kill anything added.

For openers the Foxface needs a tank at least 4 times bigger than yours so take it off the list. It would be hit or miss if the clowns would allow an Azure Damselfish to live in "their" tank, but most likely they would kill it. I post it because most certainly you could not keep two Azures in your tank, it is way too small to house two. Same story on the Royal Grammas, one at the most. I'm not sure which Cardinal fish you are looking at, so no advice without more info as to the species you are interested in.

That's a lot of fish for a ~35g tank, isn't it? I wouldn't do the foxface as it needs a bigger tank. Add the clowns last for sure, especially if they are paired (well, they will become paired anyway) because they love to make their territory. They will probably kill any damsel you put in the tank.

Personally, i'd ditch the foxface and the damsels and get a Flasher Wrasse. They are beautiful fish and they always swim around! :)

ok thanks guys...can any of you give me a list of fish you think will do fine...the more colourful the better lool...thanks for all ur help

Taking some from your list - I would say: 2 clowns, a Carpenter's Flasher (or a McCosker's Flasher) Wrasse, a Spotted Goby, and maybe a Cardinal. (The goby will help keep your sand clean, too.) :)
