What power supply for Vantec cooling fans?

Time to build my canopy for my 300 gallon. I plan on using 8 fans (4 on each side) all blowing in. After cruising reefcentral it seems that the most popular cost effective fans are the Vantecs. If anyone thinks I should go a different route feel free to chime in. I am looking at getting 8 of these:

Now, can someone give me a link to a powersupply to get? I guess Id like to just wire them all together, OR at least have two circuits with 4 fans on each circuit. I have seen some people post pics of just a simple 12V DC converter power supply that is dimmable to control the power/noise of the fans. I however dont know where to get these and every time I look on electronic websites I get wayyyy confused. Any help would be great!

Those a re great fans BTW.

You will need to fine the actual draw from them but most 120mm fans are around 80MA draw.

so 8 of them you will need 640MA add in another 350ma for extra and you need a 1 amp 12 volt power supply.

You could use something like 1 of these:

Or multiple cheapy plugin once like this:

If you go with the cheap small ones you can actually find something like it at walmart or radioshack. Just hook 3 or 4 up to each one. I have 2 running on a small 1500ma wallwart one and its been running great for 3 years now.

Some of the mopre expensive big ones also have multiple settings to you can run them at lower voltages to slow the fans down if you want to.

Hope that helps.
