I have a coralife 3x 6w Uv Sterilizer that I'm about to set up in my 125. I was wondering what pump/powerhead people have used in the 100-200 gph range with these.

IMHO Here is the key to sucessfull UV operation. The slower the water moves thru the unit the more effective it is. So pump size is not a big issue. Maxijet, mag, ect, ect any will work. However if noise is an issue then purchase a pump that is quiet. My sump is in the basement and the display is upstairs. I use mags for circulation to uv's and skimmers not the quietest but certinly a workhorse.

This sounds contradictory to me. I would think that for slower movement, one would use a smaller pump. The instructions call for 100-200gph, but even the smallest Maxi-Jet is rated @ 400. I appreciate the response anyhow.
