Hi!
I wonder what matter to the SPS.
I mean we are talking about stability of the water.

My parameters are great and stable and my phosphate and nitrate are 0. (or really close to 0)

Still, the montipora capricornis i got is not growing well.

What is the key for succesful?
(I use 8 t5 X 39w of ati at 400L tank 90X60X60)

Missing the actuals of your parameters which would help diagnose as well as a photo of the cap you refer to. Could be allot of things

I check Calcium, magnesium, alkalinity, phosphate nitrate salinity temperature and that's it.
I will try to pick a picture tommorow.

If you could provide that actual numbers for the above parameters, it might (or might not) show us where things stand..or at least rule it out of the equation.

DKH- 8.2
Calcium- 390ppm
Magnesium 1290ppm
Phosphate < 0.02 by jbl (Lowest in the chart) and show 0 at salifert
Nitrate < 0.5 ppm by jbl (Lowest in the chart) and show 0 at salifert
