What should I put in my refugium??

I just made my sump/refugium, so the question is, what should I keep in it besides some live rock rubble that's already in it. I have heard about chaeto or caulerpa but don't know about either one. Any info is appreciated.

Cuplpera has the potential to go sexual. They both are great for sump use, however the majority of people with fuge's tend to go with cheato. Its great for removing nutrients, and serves as a breeding grounds for pods. Some people prefer a 24/7 light on the fuge, and others run in on opposite schedule of the main display to help stabilize the ph.

I am using the bulb in melevsreef and works wonder. A white light instead a yellow. Cheap DIY!!!

I use mangrove seedlings and culerpa on a skimmerless system. Nitrates and nitrites are always zero.
