Hello, I am looking around at a bigger tank and what I would want in it, I would want an Emporer Angel, Picasso Trigger, Regal Tang, and some other smaller fish, it would have to be FOWLR since they would eat everything I would put in it....what would be the min size you would put these in?

I've seen full grown emporers and they are really big. I would say for the fish you want at least a 200g or bigger would be good.

I agree, something in the 200 or larger would be best, and keeping it relatively shallow even better. A 200 gallon tank that's only 24" tall is going to give a lot more swimming room than a 200 at 30" or 36".

yea i was thinking a 180 might work, but i was not sure if i needed to go bigger, especially since all 3 of them can get huuuuge.

I wouldn't go shallower than a 24" tank. Large Angels swim almost as much on the Y-axis as they do the X-axis & Z-axis

thanks for that aurora, i did not know that, i do not think i would get a big tank shallower than 24, but i would have considered 18, i will make sure that is out now.

Get an 8' long tank if possible and then use a peninsula style rock structure so fish can swim down both from and back of the 8' length. I did this with my tank and my tangs, and active fish are happy.
