What skimmer/sump is in your 180g AGA stand?

I am having difficulties getting a good sized sump and skimmer in the 180g AGA stand. I have a 75g sump in there now, lowered from the top with a brace removed but I wouldn't be able to fit a skimmer in there once the tank is on. Also the height is definitely an issue once the skimmer is in. I am considering adding 2x4s on the bottom of the stand and removing the bottom plywood so the sump sits on the ground.

So what is everyone's setup on their 180g with the stock stand?

check into lifereef jeff can build almost anything you need for sumps to meet your requrments. i had the same problem and when jeff built mine i could not belive how much easer it is to take care of

The only problem is custom sumps are pricey, I'm on a budget. I'd rather put my money into a skimmer more then a sump. But thanks for the suggestion, I guess that's a last resort.

Anyone else? Has anyone built up their stand and removed the bottom plywood?

I bought a used 100 gl acrlyic tank cut down the top some and then put in baffles and rebraced. I did have to cut the top support out of the stand to drop it in. On my old 90 I removed the bottom plywood and set the sump on the floor.

I think that's what I'm going to have to do, cut the bottom plywood out. I may go with a smaller sump as well like a 40/50b. I hate these stands!!!!
