what t5 ho bulbs? to use

i need new bulbs i was going to get the hagen glo t5 bulbs
do they have good par? and are they good quality bulbs?

I would say no to Hagen; the best bulbs are ATI, UVL, and Geisemann, with GE 6500k a great daylight bulb. And they really don't cost any more.

I agree, get a quality brand like noboddi said. Don't forget about aquascience bulbs. Go to reefgeek.com and buy them, top notch!

I wouldn't buy the Hagen either--- I VERY seriously doubt they will stack up to what you can get from a UVL, ATI, or Aquascience bulb.


They may all look the same/similar, but to the coral that's a different story.


That, and quality bulbs only cost a buck or two more, if that.

Reefgeek doesn't list Aquascience on their site. They do have KZ, ATI, UVL, G-Mann, and GE though.
