What the heck is that? (pic)

As my button coral grows, this white "tube-like" thing coming from the bottom of it gets longer and longer. I am also starting to see one coming from the bottom of my war coral. Sorry for the lousy pic. You can see it coming from teh very bottom pertruding out about an inch in length???? Anybody know what it is?

A sponge of some sort would be my guess.

Possibly a stinger tentacle? Mine doesn't do that...but then too...mine is really round overall.
