In the last 2 weeks I have lost 2 Awesome pieces of SPS and a Hammer that was about 10" in Dia.

I don't Know Why!!!!!

No........ I don't have all of my parameters.

But what would cause 3 perfectly healthy pieces of coral that I have had for years to die instantly .

I have other hammers and SPS , that is still in perfect health.

I knew I should have went Freshwater.......LOL.

I would most defnitely get all the parameters you can for your water.

Have you introduced any new inhabitants lately that could've brought pests?

There are literally hundreds of things. That's why people ask for your parameters... so they can help you narrow down whats going on. You got to give us more than... "3 pieces died" heck your salinity could be outta whack and the rest could be on the way out. Do yourself, and your tank, a favor and go get a test kit (if you don't have one) and test everything plus temp, salinity (with multiple devices). Then post your results.

One of the simple things to check would be changes in water flow velocity, and direction. I have (had) two identical tort frags literally 3 inches apart. both were doing fanstastic for almost a year. One bleached in the span of 3 days. The other looks just fine. My best guess is that I rearranged something that moved waterflow across it, and that may have done it in. I was and am stumped.
Had a similar incident in an LPS display that used a simple Maxijet 1200 for water movement for almost 2 years. I went to a MJ900 and added an "eco-mod". The increased waterflow wasn't exactly what the doctor ordered for some specimens, and I'll be ramping it all the way down to a modded MJ 400. After I shut the modded MJ900 completely off, everything rebounded nicely.
