What to ask?

Ok Reefers, Question time. I have a piece of purple plating that is about 10" in diameter. I want to get rid of it to thin out the tank but have no idea what to ask. I don't want to frag it because I don't have the space to keep the frags. I guess I could frag it as I get interested parties. Any suggestions/advice? Here's a pic, it is the bottom piece.

Thanks for the compliment 84Chris. I'm still looking for ideas on price. I am really clueless on a piece this size. The two top pieces were accidents during scraping and grew that big. The bottom piece is the original I got about a year ago. It was the size of a silver dollar when I got it.

No I have not. Ben, Firemedic wants it and I'm trying to figure out what to ask. I've actually put it on the back burner cause he was at MANCA, but he's back and I've got to get a price to him. 1-2 inch frags of it are going for 30-40, but I know I can't base it on that. I've had several ask about fragging it, but I don't know what to ask for that either.

I was going to suggest $50-60-70. Whatever you think would make you happy. If you don't want to let it go for that then frag it and sell the frags for $10-15 each. I see lots of that "Idaho Grape" montipora for sale around frag swap times and they are usually in that range. It takes a pretty large frag to get $20. A medium sized colony like yours should be worth $75 or so. If you get 6 frags then you could get $90 out of it but I would rather let one guy give me a chunk of cash than mess around with cutting frags and meeting people with the chance that they don't show.
