i have my tank all set up...all the basic equipment...
tank and stand
filtration
protein skimmer
lighting
rock/sand
test kits, calcium, strontium and molybdenum, phytoplankton
power heads and wavemaker

what else should i get, what would have the greatest effect on the overall health and wellbeing of the fish and potential corals of my tank...?

thermometer, you can never trust the measurements on heaters, ro/di, auto top off, salt, scraper

hmm, yea i have a thermometer also....i was looking and was thinking...what do those uv steralizers do? are they helpfull for anything realystically?

they kill anything that comes through them. ick, and also phytoplankton. so there is a good and a bad side. ive never used one, but ive heard they work well. a good percentage of people with larger reefs usually have one

I understand that if you have a high bioload they are good to have, although I've never owned one.

How about some soft corals?
