What to dose to get blues to pop?

I've read a thread that had the info I was looking for but for the life of me can not find it again. I am having lack luster blues and would like to know what trace element you all think is the best way to get blues to color up?

I have for months been trying to buy a salifert potassium kit in the United States. I am dosing af kallium but only a drop a day as I do not want to over dose it.

Salifert test hasn't been available for a long while. I heard a rumor it was coming back but have no idea of the standing on that.

I bought a Red Sea one to test occasionally. Major pain but it works.

Salifert potassium is back but not available at any major online store I've found. It is on eBay though I just bought 2 kits. Takes 1-2 months to get here from China though.

Any retailer that can get Salifert kits can get the Potassium kit. I bought mine locally, but had to ask for it to be special ordered.

I find that my blues and purples fade a bit if I slack off on dosing lugols solution. I try to do one drop a day. There are other SPS junkies that claim dosing lugols really help bring out blues.

I got good results from Fanua Marin blue purple complex. [emoji106]

I keep my potassium levels between 420-430 ppm. I test with Salifert Ptassium test kit.

Ya but that's the weirdest thing ever! It's almost always the other way around! When my LFS gets more kits I could ship to you...I have corporate rate.
