I was considering "Reef Chilli "

Absolutely nothing :) What all do you have? That would better inform us about what we're dealing w/here, but just going by "softies and zoas", you really dont have to feed anything. In fact, most soft corals DO NOT take food. Some, like xenia, are filter feeders, but even those wont take stuff like mysis or anything you'd put in the tank. Although isnt chilli a powdery stuff for filter feeders? Eh, i still wouldnt use the stuff just to feed softies. My tank is overcrowded w/softies and i dont feed the tank a thing besides the mysis/plankton and occasional flake that i feed my fish.

I got zoas, xenia, kenya tree, green star polyps, mushrooms several leathers, torch, hammer, frogspawn (last 3 not softies though), etc...

Don't waste your money. Bright light and good water quality will give photosynthetic soft corals everything they need.

Blah Blah Blah...
What product manufacturer would actually advertise that their stuff isn't really needed? I've never used phytoplankton or oyster eggs and have no problem getting soft corals to grow. Click on my gallery to see some pics of healthy soft corals that feed on light and what's naturally present in the water.

Thanks Seapug.
Your display is absolutly stunning !
I hope to start a zoo collection soon, and wanted to know about there up keep. Many different opinions on their care, the pics of your's are a testement to your advice.

thanks, Steve. Feeding won't hurt (unless you overdo it, which is easy to do) but I'm a firm believer in the old school philosophy of good light and water quality. Keep those two things in mind above all else and over time your tank will generate a the vast majority of what it's corals need.
