What to feed?

I am an official reefer! I now have 3 different colored zoanthids, a green star polyp and a yellow polyp in my newly setup 75 Gal reef. This is my first reef tank and I am very please so far, knock on wood.

Because my tank is new, do I have enough food substance in the water to support these guys? What are some good food supplements to make sure they stay happy and healthy. I have plenty of light, a 6 pack of T5s, so they aren't lacking that.

What are some of the suggested food supplements for zoanthids, green star polyps and yellow polyps?

What do you use?

Thanks, Mike

I let all mine feed for themself and they have been growing like crazy. Most people don't feed polyp corals like those.

I dont feed mine anything, either. My lights aren't as good as yours and the zooanthids and star polyps, if not growing, are at least opening up very well and looking nice.

Nothing, you will be better off. Most new people will over feed there tank with phytoplanton.

I don't feed my tank. Some will say I should. To each there own.

I suppose its like everything else in this hobby, everyone has their own way of doing things and if it works, it can't be the wrong way... :-)

Thanks for the input!!

I suppose if they are doing fine without adding anything, then I am good to go.
