what type of controller for MJ1200 MOD

what does everyone use to have the MJs with the MODs done to creat random flow, I want to add 2 to my system to creat some what of a curent also I was thinking of putting them in the upper back corners of the tank. Any thoughts or sugestions?

I just use store bought timers on 15 minute interavals. The timers were $6 or so a piece. Works for me.

Wouldn't the RS Wavemaker work on them?

I have 2 on a red sea wavemaster, make a little noise on start up but it doesnt bother me
