What type of flow do your corals prefer?

Apologies for posting this in the NPS thread, since the corals I'm planning to keep are actually not NPS: photosynthetic Stereonephthyas and an Isis hippuris gorgonian. But I figure there must be some overlap between the conditions that suit photosynthetic nephtheids and gorgonians and the ones that work for their NPS relatives (aside from obvious issues like lighting).

My tank is 50G, with a 10G sump/refugium. Right now, I only have a Mag-Drive in the sump to provide flow through 4 loc-line returns. I'm not sure if this will provide enough current, or if I should look into getting a powerhead or wavemaker. I'd welcome any advice and/or suggestions. Thanks!
