What type species is this??

Hello, can anyone please give me some information on this crab. Is it reef safe? Is it predatory? Is it bad to have with fish? Ect...It looks like this one or its very similar.


I got them from the south Florida Waters, and they were hanging out on the floating sea weed. thank you.

With those sharp claws I didn't trust it, seems like a carnivourous kind of crab!

If he looks like this guy I just got out of my tank, he's probably evil.
Sharp pointy claws just waiting to tear things apart. When I got my 7 year old tank a couple of months ago the evil crab was in there and the previous owners didn't even know. When I started adding things like mandarinfish and corals I had to catch the little bastard and get him out of there because he was definitely carnivorous. He used to grab bristleworms and tear them apart and eat them.
