what / where to get float switches

Looking to be able to trigger alarm is water gets to high or low as well as use to trigger my ATO pump?

So where to get or which to use?

I built a custom acrylic holder with sliding mounts.

I could simply get some acrylic from lowe's... say cut to like 2x4" & drill a hole (for the float switch) & glue it to the side of my acrylic sump at the proper water level...correct?

Do any of you have a float switch low in the sump...ie to notify you of a low water condition/problem for some reason?

I actually plan to put one in my sump (house) to trigger an email txt alert if something ever goes amis there!

Yes, I have a float switch for a low sump condition. So far, the only time it gets activated is when a snail takes a ride.
