Im not looking to buy new...wallet wont allow it..........just looking for suggestions on what I should start shopping for used. I have a decent telephoto and a macro(which I use most), but I am tired of not beign able to fit what I want in the frame so want a wide angle to add to the lens collection

suggestions anyone??

I have the sigma 10-20 on my d80 and like it quite a bit. Here are a few photos with it. I find myself using it at 10 or 12mm most the time. That tokina misled linked above 11-16 f2.8 looks pretty sweet.

Yea, but B&H hasn't had it in stock for over 2 months. The only place I've seen it, (that I've looked anyway), is on slebay from shippers in Hong Kong. Not going there. Still waiting. That sigma don't look bad either though!!!!

I loved the Tokina 12-24 when I had mine. I actually put off moving to full frame for quite a while because I didn't want to give it up. I suspect that the 11-16 is just as good or better.

the tokina 11-16 f2.8 is a great lens and very affordable its a little soft wide open by once you step it down to about f4 it becomes sharp corner to corner

I ordered mine from Adorama last summer. It was not in stock then either, but Adorama lets you order it anyway, and then when they get it in stock they ship it and charge your credit card. Took me about 2 months to get it.
