Hi guys,
I usually like to buy fish from an established tank/from fellow hobbyists and avoid LFS due to ich and other parasites.
I have been lucky to have purchased a Powder Blue Tang that was from an established reef tank who had him for 9 months, the PBT and several other fish never showed signs of ich (he had several other fish which included a blue tang).
I have the PBT in a QT which is going through TTM (I have successfully completed TTM for all my fish so far) however he hasn't been eating pellets or mysis shrimp (MS was his main diet with the previous owner) for the last 3 days.
Would you just put him in your display? based on the PBT previous track record of not showing any signs of ich or continue with the TTM and hope that he eats?
Again I have completed TTMs multiple times before all with success however never experienced fish refusing to eat especially after three days.
Thanks in advance.
