What's a bulb anemone? Desc:

It looks like a small bubble tip but the base is red. I'm trying to find some information on these but everything shows up as regular BTA and doesn't have a maroon/red base.

Yes, red or maroon is a common color for the base of a BTA. Tan is the most common color, but purple is not unusual either. The base color seems to be independent of the tentacle color. Any tentacle color can have any of the different base colors.

Thanks - I suspected they were the same thing but I guess now it's certain

I was considering adding a third anemone to my tank when I saw this one. An LTA would get too large so BTA or maybe a rock anemone might be nice.
