You want a tank made by the same builders of the original Oceanic? I had a Oceanic Model 135 since 1998. It was/still is a great tank but I was out growing it and decided to get something with the same foot print except deeper front to back. After researching online I spoke with my LFS and he said he could get me the tank I wanted built by the same builder of the original Oceanic. Of course I was all in. I recieved my new 72x30x24 tank 2 weeks ago and it exceeded my expectations. Google "Planet Aquariums". You will not be disappointed.
I bought my new marineland 48*24*30 tall from a LFS and I am very pleased so far. Plenty of room for aquascaping and more internal room overall as there is only a single overflow in the corner. I had 48" max length to work with in the house for a tank, so I knew I was going up with it. 30" sounded reasonable and I'm glad I did.
For a large custom tank AGE makes what I would consider the best tank on the market. Their PVC bottom, glass sides with Stainless Steel bracing hybrid tanks are incredibly well made but unfortunately they come with an equally impressive price. If you are looking for a great tank that will last a lifetime look at an AGE tank.
