Anything that MIGHT be in my tank that I should know that would eat my Xenia?

I have 2 clowns, some snails and hermits. Not much, but something is eating it up at night time. I think it might be pods.:mad2:

Here it is:
Its kind of hard to see, but if you look hard the feather part of the head are missing.

Get your water quality checked... believe it or not, I had a problem with that a while back and it was alkalinity. Got it in check, the fingers grew back, and now they're clogging my system fast than I can get rid of them!!! Also, check to see that when they close up a bit for the night, they aren't blowing around and abrading themselves against the rocks or a coral.

It might be my water quality. I know for a fact that my pH as well as calcium are low, so I wouldn't be surprised if the alkalinity is low too. Will have it tested again...

My calcium might be better, I've been dosing calcium and now I see light purple caroline forming.

My damsel eats mine, no matter how much I put in, he mows it to the base and kills it... don't know why... maybe this is your cause also

I have no idea whats getting into my Xenia, but it looks like its going bye bye. I did a 2g water change on it, so lets see what happens.

Take it away from the clowns, possible up high in the rock formation, i think the clowns could be trying to host on it and perhaps hurting it in the process

Could be, I see them getting very close to my bubble and that looks like its starting to receed.

I guess its a learning phase, after my sump/refugium is set up I will be in more control of everything.
