What's going on here

Long story short I have two dead fish. Both died about two days apart. Parameters are all normal. First it was one of the clowns I saw it floating towards the bottom and it was covered in a white film. Died shortly after. Now this morning the same thing with a diamond goby. Same exact symptoms. All other fish and coral are fine including a bta. The tank is about 6 months old. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issues. Just pulled out a black Sailfin Blenny. I thought it had Ich and had been fighting it off, but when I pulled it out it had big patchs of white, maybe Marine Velvet?

I've lost several fish to Ich in the last 3 months. Currently the only other fish in the tank that has the symptoms is a Cortez Angle and it's still eating ok, seems pretty misearable though.

Nitrates, nitrite, ammonia at 0. Salinity is 1.025. It's a 40 breeder which currently only has a small yellow tang and a clown. Both look to be fine.

Also have two cleaner shrimp and a cuc.

Hmm it might be some type of disease unfortunately. Either that or you got a bristle worm or something that could kill them I doubt it though. Although I can't pinpoint exactly which disease it "might" be but I'm thinking a basic guess of brooklynella. It is most commonly found with clownfish but can also host to different fishes.

It's symptoms show a mucus like slime around the fish. Apparently the parasite reproduces at a much high rate than ich or marine velvet therefore killing your fish faster I suppose. Look it up and see if you having similar symptoms. I could be a mile wrong but it's my best guess at this point.
