That thing on the left that looks like a zoa with really long tentacles is an aptasia anemone. And you have cyano (red slime algae) growing on your zoas just to the right of the aptaisa. To get rid of the aptasia get aptasia-x. For the cyano, try red slime remover and then a water change like instructed (water change, I find, is very significant).

If the cyano really is annoying you, you can syphon it out next time you do a water change, it will probably just come back, but its a temporary fix. Another way to make sure it doesn't come back in that spot is to increase the water flow to that area. Or just spend the $10-$15 for the red slime remover.

+1 on the aptasia, and the cyano. If you are worried about the aptasia I would just put a little bit of calcium solution in a syringe and place the tip of th syringe in the aptasia's mouth and release some of the solution in it. The cyano(red slime) is easy to take care of, I would never dump medications in your tank to remove it though. just increase your water changes, and make sure you are using RODI water... Change out your carbon/GFO, all of these things will help.

Take the rock out of the tank, scrape the Aiptasias (the picture shows 2 anemones, you should have more around the system!!!!) off the rock with a sharp knife. The anemone is stinging the zoas!! You can siphon the ciano off with a flexible tube while doing partial water changes. Make sure the organics are low so the ciano gets under control. Skimmer, partial water changes and water flow.
Good luck!

+1 on the aiptasia. I had a bad out break in one of my tanks and I tried everything to get rid of them. Aiptasia x. peppermint shrimp, butterfly fish, and so on. I finally won the war on Aiptasia with superglue. I would remove the rock and pour superglue over the aiptasia let it cure and replace the rock into my tank. Took a couple weeks of doing it, and a few trips to the dollar store for glue, but in the end it was well worth it.

That aiptasia is in a perfect place to hit it with aiptasia x. Look very closely at your tank, where there is one, more are likely to be. Look from all angles. Start killing them now. They're not the end of the world, but the sooner you attack the easier eradication will be.

As far as cyano goes, been battling it myself. It likes dead spots lacking flow, and dirty water. It will not go away on its own, so turkey baste liberally, weekly water changes. Syphon it out, change mechanical filters daily, feed less, ect. When it's on zoas I just blast them with a baster to never let it cake. Also not the end of the world, but you MUST actively try to beat it.

Thanx guys for your help! Been doin some research probably go with lemon juice. Inject several big ones every couple of days and wait till the little ones get bigger to have a better chance of kill rate. Thanx again :)

If you really want to inject, Kalk would be the way to go because of the pH.

very good way to get rid of those aptasias is to take a syringe and use lemonjuice, like you said which is very acidic which will cause the aptasia to shrink and turn gray, if that happens, inject more and it will die, do not pull off as the liquids from the aptasia release and spread more. also invest in peppermint shrimp, sometimes you have to train them to eat the aptasias but there only 5 bucks. good luck!
