So i have a cheap amazon light on my refugium.. I am thinking of getting a new light. i would like to know what you guys think? Are the super $$$el lights worth it, or are there other lights that work just as good??? my refugium section is about 18 inch by 16 inch and about 10 inch deap. Would like to know what you pro's think?

Macro algae typically doesn't need much light..
Seeing how you can grow it just fine with a $5 6500k bulb and clip on socket from the hardware store I will answer "No" that the super $$$ stuff isn't worth it..
I've used a $5 CFL bulb in the past with great results..
Now I'm using one of the Chinese black box lights just because I had an extra one laying around so I'm using it.. Maybe turned up to 25% if that..
