Whats the best way to attach my Zoa

Problem i have is my Dragon Wrasse likes to rearrange and my zoa's keep winding up on the sandbed. I have tried wedging them into rocks or glue the zoa down, but tough to put any pressure on the rock of zoa without damaging them. And of course cathing a wrasse is almost impossible without major rock removal or Luck!

If possible take the zoos and rock out of the tank when using super glue. The zoos can stay out of water for a very long time and It will allow the glue to cure and doesn't require any pressure.

Problem is the rock i want to attach them to is supporting the rocks on that side of the tank, and i even thought about putting them on a rock that is larger than the one they are already on and setting that on the main rock, but i am worried they will be to high and close to the bubbles of my bubble coral.

Good advice! I've used rubber bands to attach zoanthids, star polyps, mushrooms and xenias.

I agree with the rubber band strategy. I have a neon wrasse that likes to flip over my zoanthid frags in search of food. So I had to rubber band them to larger rocks that he won't flip over.

I will see if i can break a rock to use as a base to put my zoa on and put that in the place i want the zoa. The problem is it needs to be almost flat. I cannot use rubberbands on the current rock mounting place cause the rock it too big and i cannot get to the sides of the rock, only the front. If u look at my webcam right now you will see a lot of stuff on the sandbed...that is just since this morning that he disrupted. mms://bentheredonethat.us/fishcam

link dont work. Just super glue the polyps to a piece of rubble. then wedge the rubble were you want them to spread

I bet that dragon wrasse is a brisel worm hunter. I wonder if they will eat nudy's also. I think they would

He's only doing what dragon wrasse do best. I still think if anyone has nudies there a cure. NEVER tried it but my freind has one also and it's a hunter for sure.

I've posted this in the past, but I had a leopard wrasse that I swear was a zoa colonies best friend. I either had great luck in not buying any infested zoas during that time or the leopard wrasse did a great job.

I have a six line thats always curious, I can move stuff around in my tank and he's right there eatting the bristol worms from under the rocks. he goes nutts now when he gets a big one

Today will be the big test! I bought a flat rock appx 6" across with some Zoa on it and then i glued 4 other Zoa frags to it. When i ck my webcam later i hope not to see any zoa on the sandbed. If there is....next step is to try to catch him and trade him in! I am trying to keep my hands out of my tank, but he wont let me!
