Hi all
What is the best way to clean a ph phrobe? Its still good and only a few months old. It has some coriline algae and some reg algea on it.

Soak the probe in a 4.0 pH buffer for several hours. If this does not work then immerse the probe in hot buffer 4.0 solution.

I personally wouldn't use vinegar, but as long as you do not damage the sensitive glass sensor, you should be ok.

Unlike temperature sensors, the pH electrode is relatively unstable and maintenance intensive tool. pH Probes will normally require weekly or monthly cleanings and monthly calibrations. That will prevent coraline growth on the glass probe.
