what's the correct way to mount a chalice?

I got a frag of bright green chalice at the BAR frag swap, I tried to find car instruction for it but didn't find any. It's about 2x3 in size. Can I use IC gel to glue it to a rock? What kind of things should I look for and be aware of, of this coral?

I don't think your car manual will have anything in it... :)

Yeah, S. Glue Gel works best.... As far as anything to watch out for, watch for flesh receding if it's a new frag, and watch for sweepers and other corals nearby...

haha, I don't know what's wrong with me but all day long I've been doing that. Typing one thing and thinking another.

Get sleep, avoid chemical exposure, drink lotsa water, and get a back rub (doing ths you will avoid the four main causes of fruedian slips)

I used epoxy to block them up on a wall, gel didn't work so well for me. Here the coral has completely grown over the epoxy, I think it was in the upper and lower left of the coral.

Here's what happened to my Lobo sitting below when the glue didn't hold. It's recovered now, after three months.

i just picked up a chalice to..probably 4 inches across.
i just layed mine on the rock without glue..ill see what happens.

Just be carefull with surrounding corals. Chalices can put out some long sweepers that can pack a punch to other corals.
