I have a blue/purple mushroom and a green mushroom, but it has small bumps on it. Right now I have them both in low/med light and low/med flow. However, I'm trying to find out the difference between yams, rics and hairy mushrooms and what each likes.

I have a 20L with a SunPod 150 Phoenix 14k.

Mushrooms     Light     Flow
Yams
Rics
Hairy

Thanks

Yumas have bubbles or bumps on there mouths, rics don't have bubbles on there mouths. I can post a pic of a Hairy Mushroom if you wish... Do you have pics of yours???

The green ones are called red pimple mushrooms which are a med/high light and the first ones are a low light mushroom because of there color and you usually find them growing near the substrate. Please correct me if I am wrong though I am pretty sure that is right.

Yeah, it would appear that both specimens are in the Actinodiscus genus. Those are none of the ones that you listed above.
As far as lighting goes, I would agree Chris, since you havet the Phoenix lighting system, I would keep the green ones closer to the middle not the top though IMO.

So the ones I have are just the standard mushrooms, which would be a 4th group on my list. From my understanding they like low/med light and flow. I've been looking around and my try to get a ric or yuma, however what would their light and flow requirements be.

Most Rics and Yumas like even less light and even less flow than regular mushrooms. Basically on the bottom and on the dark side of the moon...

twodaend: yes, these are "regular" mushrooms. I always consider them Discosoma spp., because I'm not sure if there is a preferred name yet between Discosoma and Actinodiscus (and its too easy for me to confuse Actinodiscus w/ Amplexidiscus, the giant cup/elephant ear mushroom.)

The Ricordea and Rhodactis (hairy) have actual tentacles.

Hairy mushroom with clown. I think these are Rhodactis inchoata. One of mine is 5 inches in diameter.
