What's the difference?

Hi, I have two types of Montiporas. Both were labled M. Capicornous but they have very different polyp patterns. One hase many and crowded polyps while the other has fewer polyps and they are all spread out. Are these two different Sp. of Montipora, one being a capicornous and the other a...?

Many Montipora seem like they can take on a couple forms, and there's quite a few Montipora that can plate.

They look like different species to me, but differentiating which IMO is mighty difficult, and might not have one standard growth pattern to expect.

A nice pair, as grown big they should look different, and sweet
